Day two in LA. The skies are brighter than ever. A thick smog hovers above us. There are no normal trees here. The mood is dark. The palm trees are frightening. They are skinny and they sway. Giant letters that stick to a large mass of elevated land spell out something my brain can't even understand. HOLLYWOOD. Yes, that's right. We went to Hollywood today and walked over stars with names of very wealthy people. I took a picture of one particular star which humbled me- Kermit The Frog. There is still hope. It wasn't easy being green, but we forged on. Amoeba Records stole my heart. I'll be taking back some wonderful tunes on wax with me, such as Bruce Springsteen's "Nebraska" and The Clash's "Sandinista."
We drove up a long spiral of a hill. The hills of Hollywood. What a view! Lets let Laura take it away with a more detailed account of the day...but a little later. This is intriguing enough, I think, to get you to come back and read more from the laurocka later!

xoxo

More Pictures later tonight!!
